2015 Threads Challenge

I’ve been reading Threads Magazine for years.  But usually that is all I do with it.  Just read.  I’ve decided to issue myself a personal 2015 sewing challenge: In each Threads issue I will choose an article to use for the basis of a project.  I may just practice a technique discussed or maybe actually make a project.

So here goes.  Even though it is the end of January and the January issue probably came out in December or before, and I have already received the next issue, I am going to start now

There are four articles I thought would be interesting to try:

  1. Corded tucks How Did They Sew That, by Judith Neukam
  2. Secure a Coat Lining, by Jacque Goldsmith
  3. Align Stripes, by Louise Cutting
  4. Rolled Hems, by Pamela Leggett

I’ll do some careful reading of the techniques explained and see which one to try.   Wish me luck!
